How do I keep my progress on a new phone?
Create an account before you switch: open Settings (the button at the top right of the lobby), tap Create account / Sign in, and choose Apple, Google or email. On the new phone, sign in with the same account. A guest account stays on the phone where you play.
I bought PinPoint Pro, but I don’t have it.
In the lobby, tap your credits to open the Store. Tap the PinPoint Pro card, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
My credits didn’t arrive after a purchase.
Open the app again while you are online: an unfinished purchase completes then. If the credits still don’t arrive, email us with the order ID from your Apple receipt.
How do I cancel PinPoint Pro?
For the monthly plan: in the app, open Settings › Subscription › Manage subscription. You can also go to iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the plan renews.
Pro for life is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every payment and refund. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why did World Match give me a computer rival?
World Match looks for a real player for about 7 seconds. When no one is free, you play a computer rival, so you never wait.
What happens if my rival leaves?
If your rival leaves a live match, you win it.
How do I play with a friend?
Tap Invite a Friend in the lobby, create a match, choose the entry, and share your 7-digit code. Your friend taps Invite a Friend, then Join a friend, and enters the code. You both play the same five cities for the same entry.
How do I change my display name?
Tap your avatar in the lobby to open your profile, change your display name, and tap Save.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Go to iPhone Settings › Notifications › PinPoint.
How do I stop ad tracking?
Go to iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and turn off PinPoint.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings (the button at the top right of the lobby) and tap Delete account. This deletes your account right away, and you cannot undo it. PinPoint Pro stays with your Apple Account, so you can restore it later. Unused credits are lost.
Something isn’t working.
Close the app fully and open it again, check your internet connection, and update to the latest version from the App Store. Still stuck? Email us.
How to play
See a city. Drop a pin. How close can you get?
- Rounds. A match has 5 rounds (your very first match has 3). Each round shows a city, and you have 20 seconds to tap where it is on the world map.
- Scoring. The closer your pin, the higher your base score, from 50 to 1,000 points. Tap fast for a speed bonus: ×1.2 in the first third of the timer, ×1.1 in the middle third. A round is worth up to 1,200 points, and no pin scores 0.
- Help when you need it. A country hint appears when time runs low, and Radar shows a zone the city is in.
- Winning. In a match against a rival, the higher total after 5 rounds wins. An exact tie is a draw, and no credits change hands.
Ways to play
- World Match. One on one with a player anywhere, or with a computer rival when no one is free. Choose your entry first.
- Invite a Friend. A private match with a 7-digit code.
- Daily Challenge. The same cities for every player, each day. The day’s top 10 win credits.
- Practice. Practice the cities of one country, or a random one. It costs 15 credits to enter, and finding 3 of 5 cities wins it back. It is free with PinPoint Pro.
Credits and rewards
Credits are the game’s currency. They have no cash value, and you cannot cash them out.
- Earn credits from the daily bonus, the Lucky Wheel (every 3 hours), daily quests, level-ups, the Daily Challenge, and ads you choose to watch. You can also buy credit packs in the Store.
- Spend credits on match entries, on Practice, and on a Streak Freeze, which keeps your streak safe on a day off.
- Entries. A win pays both entries, minus a small fee. A loss costs your entry. A draw leaves it unchanged.

What Pro gives you
- No ads before matches.
- Insights: every city you found on a spinning globe, your records, your form, and a card to share your world.
- Practice at any time, with no entry.
The App Store shows the price for your country. To restore Pro, open the Store, tap the PinPoint Pro card, then Restore purchases.
Your account
- Guest. You can play right away, with no sign-up. Your progress is saved to a guest account on this phone.
- Create an account to keep your progress on any phone: open Settings in the lobby and tap Create account / Sign in. Choose Apple, Google or email.
- Delete your account in Settings › Delete account.
